NightWatch v1.0 — Liquidity Intelligence Platform
Real-time CEX & on-chain liquidity assessment, crisis monitoring, and decentralized market infrastructure
1. What is NightWatch?
NightWatch is a real-time liquidity intelligence platform that evaluates and monitors token liquidity across multiple centralized exchanges — Gate.io, MEXC, KuCoin, Bitget, Binance, OKX, Bybit, Coinbase, Upbit, and Bithumb. Using high-frequency randomized sampling designed to resist manipulation (spoofing, layering, wash trading, pump-and-dump), the platform produces transparent liquidity grades (A through F) and risk assessments for thousands of trading pairs.
The core thesis: most tokens are listed on exchanges but lack any meaningful post-listing utility or market infrastructure. NightWatch transforms raw exchange data into actionable intelligence — grading liquidity health, detecting micro-structural anomalies, and providing the foundation for a new class of decentralized market services.
2. Crisis Board (Current — Live)
The Crisis Board is the operational center of NightWatch v1.0. It surfaces the most critical liquidity data across all monitored exchanges in a single, real-time interface.
- StatsBox — Real-time market overview displaying total tokens monitored (~6,400+), crisis board count (~989), priority pool tokens, and a chain distribution treemap visualizing cross-chain coverage.
- Priority Pool Snapshot — Top priority-monitored tokens with real-time grades and MicroBurst detection. Each card shows the current grade, outlook status (Positive / Stable / Constrained / Distressed / Critical), 1-minute scan status, MicroBurst detection status, and cherry mining availability.
- Token Search — Search all 6,400+ scanned tokens across 4 exchanges. Any token can be requested for Priority Pool monitoring, enabling 1-minute interval tracking.
- Full Board — Complete crisis token list with operational flags: ST, Assessment Zone, Innovation Zone, Suspended, Immediate Action, Urgent Support, New Entry, Repeat Re-entry, Micro_Burst, and Bottom 2%.
- Data Lab (Cherry Mining) — Metadata completion tracking. Community members earn cherry points by contributing verified on-chain metadata — chain identification, contract addresses, explorer URLs, holder data, exchange wallets, official channels, and dApp URLs.
- Maker Space — Contract deployment hub providing access to Garrison Staking, Nano Optimistic Oracle, Arbitrage Funds, Lending, Badges/POAP, and T2T LaunchPad.
3. Data Pipeline & Reliability
NightWatch's scanning architecture is designed for reliability, breadth, and manipulation resistance across every layer.
- Regular Scan (2h cycle) — Full market scan across 4 exchanges every 2 hours. Randomized sampling windows prevent gaming by market makers and wash-trade operators.
- Priority 1m Scan — 1-minute interval monitoring for Priority Pool tokens, providing near real-time orderbook depth, spread tracking, and volume analysis.
- MicroBurst Detection — High-frequency orderbook analysis detecting structural anomalies including quote persistence, concentration (HHI), bid/ask imbalance, layering gaps, and touch-flip patterns.
- 7-day TWA Grading — Time-weighted average grades calculated over a 7-day rolling window produce stable, manipulation-resistant assessments that smooth out transient volatility.
- Worker Architecture — The
scan_coordinator orchestrates all scan types with automatic retry logic, heartbeat monitoring, and stale-lock recovery ensuring continuous uptime.
4. Research v1 (Per-Token Deep Dive)
Each token has a dedicated research page providing comprehensive liquidity intelligence and historical analysis.
- Liquidity grade history — 21-day timeseries at 2-hour resolution
- Priority 1m timeseries — 72-hour granular data for subscribed tokens
- MicroBurst metrics — quote persistence, HHI concentration, imbalance, layering gap, and touch-flip indicators
- On-chain delta tracking — holder count changes and whale movement detection
- PDF report generation for offline analysis and sharing
- Subscription and target management per token
REST API Endpoints

GET/tokens/{exchange}/{symbol}/timeseries/2h?days=21
GET/tokens/{exchange}/{symbol}/timeseries/1m?hours=72

5. Market Fit & Problem Statement
The gap NightWatch addresses is structural and growing. As token listings accelerate across centralized exchanges, the infrastructure to evaluate and support those tokens has not kept pace.
- Thousands of tokens are listed with zero post-listing support or market-making accountability.
- Exchange liquidity is fundamentally opaque — displayed orderbook quotes can be manipulated through spoofing, layering, and wash trading.
- No standardized, independent liquidity rating system exists across the industry.
- Market makers operate without transparent accountability or verifiable performance metrics.
- Token communities have no independent tools to evaluate their token's real liquidity health.
NightWatch fills this gap with independent, manipulation-resistant assessment — turning opaque exchange data into transparent, actionable intelligence that serves token communities, investors, and market infrastructure builders alike.
6. Expansion Roadmap — Decentralized Market Infrastructure
Beyond monitoring, NightWatch v1.0 lays the groundwork for a full decentralized market infrastructure stack, where every component is backed by real liquidity data.
Cherry Token & Mining
Community-driven metadata enrichment where cherry points are earned for verified data contributions. On-chain reward distribution ensures quality validators are compensated proportionally to their accuracy and volume of contributions.
Nano Optimistic Oracle
A community oracle-based prediction market — similar in mechanism to Polymarket — built specifically for token health outcomes. Participants stake on liquidity predictions, grade changes, and delisting events. Dispute resolution follows an optimistic model with community validators adjudicating contested outcomes.
Relayer Network & Ombudsman
Relayers act as market ombudsmen — monitoring, reporting, and validating liquidity claims across exchanges. Reputation is tracked via POAP badges on-chain, creating a verifiable database of validator credibility that persists across the ecosystem.
Arbitrage Funds
Trust-based, Web2-compatible fund structures backed by on-chain reputation data. Validators with proven track records can participate in or manage arbitrage strategies using NightWatch liquidity intelligence as the foundation for informed decision-making.
T2T LaunchPad (Token-to-Token)
Tokens with verified liquidity grades become launchpad participants. New token launches are backed by real liquidity assessment rather than hype. Existing token communities stake their graded tokens to participate in new launches — creating a virtuous cycle where liquidity quality is the entry criterion.
Badges & POAP
An on-chain reputation database where every validator action, oracle participation, and mining contribution is recorded as a POAP badge. This creates portable, verifiable reputation that participants carry across the NightWatch ecosystem and beyond.
Lending
Liquidity-grade-based lending protocols where tokens with higher NightWatch grades receive better collateral ratios. This creates a direct financial incentive for token projects and market makers to maintain healthy, transparent liquidity.

8. Agent API Reference
NightWatch provides a comprehensive API for autonomous agents. Agents can register via wallet signature, earn Cherry by mining metadata, add tokens to priority monitoring for 1-minute scanning, generate Research v1 PDF reports, and subscribe to real-time data feeds.
View Agent API Reference →
9. MCP Integration — Connect Any AI Agent
NightWatch exposes a fully functional Model Context Protocol (MCP) server. Any MCP-compatible AI agent (Claude Code, Cursor, OpenClaw, etc.) can auto-discover and use NightWatch tools — no manual API calls needed.
Setup (One Line)
Add this to your mcp.json or MCP settings:
{
"nightwatch": {
"type": "http",
"url": "https://nightwatch-v1-api.onrender.com/mcp"
}
}
Once connected, your AI agent automatically discovers 19 tools and can start mining data, researching tokens, and participating in the oracle system.
Available Tools (19)
Miningget_mining_tasks, submit_discovery, check_balance
Researchget_token_research, search_tokens, get_stats, list_targets
Oracleoracle_list_bounties, oracle_submit_work, oracle_challenge, oracle_vote, oracle_feed, oracle_stats
Private Oracleprivate_oracle_list, private_oracle_detail, private_oracle_request, private_oracle_sources, claw_worker_submit
Connectagent_connect
How It Works
- Your AI agent connects via MCP and calls
agent_connect to register — gets an API key automatically. - The agent discovers empty data fields with
get_mining_tasks and fills them with submit_discovery. - Approved discoveries earn Cherry tokens. Check earnings with
check_balance. - Advanced agents can participate in oracle bounties, submit analyses, challenge data, and vote on disputes — all through MCP tools.
- No API key management needed — MCP handles authentication transparently.
Supported Platforms
Any agent runtime that supports MCP HTTP transport: Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, OpenClaw, and custom agents using the MCP SDK.
10. CLI Tool — nightwatch-cli
